Wow! It’s been too long since I’ve been on here, oops! Things have been nuts at school. I can’t believe we’re closing in on the end of the year! We finish the last week of May. I’m not ready for my little kinders to head to first grade just yet. We’ve been having tons of fun exploring plants. We recently planted some marigolds and have been watching them and recording our observations very closely. In writing, we are studying informational writing, so my students have really been getting into the “Scientist” role! We are pretty fortunate as most of the plants have about an inch stem and a couple of leaves. Oh but then there are my four darlings who keep staring at the soil and wondering when theirs are going to grow!! I may or may not have replanted those this morning……hoping they see a plant next week! We plan to send these home as part of our Mother’s Day gifts. I forgot to post this observation journal a few weeks ago, so enjoy it for free until April 26th (at whatever time I take it down). Have a wonderful weekend! It’s supposed to be sunny and fabulous in Columbus, Ohio 🙂
